For 1-4 players, ages 15+, playing time is around 60-120 minutes.
Nippon: Zaibatsu is a new edition of Nippon, a fast-paced, area-majority economic game. Players control "zaibatsu": massive conglomerates of interconnected companies driving Japan's economy in the Industrial Revolution era.
During the game, players invest in new industries, build factories and railroads, and produce goods to saturate local markets and fulfill contracts — all to grow their influence and power and to become rulers of the new modernized country. Players are free to choose their playstyle and winning strategy: They choose what they score victory points for, control the game's pace with income turns, and race each other to get the most beneficial factories, markets, and bonuses.
All the core mechanisms of the original Nippon are present, but the components, art, and design are upgraded, and many gameplay features are reworked to get the game in line with modern trends. Nippon: Zaibatsu features new resource types, ships are heavily revised with new Iwakura mission rules, factories are much more variable, consolidation turns provide players with new rewards, and much more. Also, the game now has an automa-driven solo mode.

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that somewhere between the first dainty sip of tea and the final, venomously hurled piece of cake, Aunt Alice’s bridge game had taken a regrettable turn. . .
In the RiverBankTM roleplaying game, you and a few reputable (or otherwise!) Animal friends reside in an idyllic English countryside setting created by award-winning writer Kij Johnson.
Weave a cozy narrative of social adventures, escalating situations, and impending disaster with more than a few unexpected twists. Celebrate festivals, attend Ms. Badger’s literary salons (for the hors d’oeuvres, if nothing else), and nurture (occasionally sabotage) relationships with one another and a charming cast of nonplayer characters.
Welcome to the River Bank—your story is about to begin!

The Royal Blood tarot deck is a lavishly illustrated accessory for the Royal Blood roleplaying game. Every card features original art by Silvia De Stefanis, designed to evoke Grant Howitt’s descriptions and rules; these luscious, jewel-toned cards act as divinatory tools or game aids, whichever you prefer.
Most tarot decks only have 78 cards; we have 84. We added Strangers – new court cards that open up new playable character archetypes in the TTRPG – and Jokers, because every good heist needs even more twists. The deck comes in a sturdy two-piece box, and the cards themselves are gilded with silver foil.
You can keep those extra cards in the deck to play Royal Blood, or remove them and use the remaining cards as a standard tarot deck.

You’ve got old blood in your veins.
Sorcerer-King. Witch-Queen.
Royal Blood is a tabletop roleplaying game about heists, tarot cards, magic, fate and desperation. It uses a deck of tarot cards to build characters, plan a heist and determine opposition, and to resolve every risky action the players make in an attempt to claim power.
Players take on the roles of Royals, desperate modern-day magicians with wizard blood left over from the time of sorcerer-kings and witch-queens. Each court card in the deck comes with its own player character concept, such as the cruel mask-cutting Queen of Swords, the wild and impetuous Princess of Wands, or the unsettlingly calm Knight of Pentacles.
They’re going to take down one of the major arcana, or the Arcane. The Arcane were once human just like the player characters, but vast power and long centuries have twisted them weird and iconic. Death starts revolutions, the Hanged Man builds border walls, the Sun sells serotonin supplements and the Magus installs spyware on company laptops.
If you want to steal the power from a demigod you’ll have to be clever about it. You can’t go in all guns blazing: Royal Blood deals in heists. Using a spread of tarot cards, you’ll determine what stands in the way of the player characters and what they can subvert to their own ends. No preparation is required, and you can go from zero to game in about half an hour.
Then it’s a simple matter of stealing power from the most dangerous people in the world – but they’re old, and complacent, and set in their ways. They’ve been in charge for too long.
Time to get to work.
Revised and expanded, Royal Blood has doubled in size since its original publication in 2016. Now 172 pages long and beautifully illustrated by Silvia De Stefanis, Royal Blood includes:
